Henry Schacht

Henry Schacht returned to Warburg Pincus in 2004. He first joined the firm in early 1995, leaving later that year to become the founding Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lucent Technologies. Prior to his tenure at Lucent, he was CEO and later Chairman of Cummins Engine Co. Mr. Schacht is a director of ALCOA, Lucent Technologies and formerly of The New York Times Company. He is a Trustee of The Metropolitan Museum of Art; former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Ford Foundation and a former Trustee of Yale University. He is a member of The Business Council and a former member of The Business Roundtable. |
